Bounce Fitness class information

Thank you for booking a Bounce Fitness taster class.

We are super excited to be sharing this fun & fantastic mini-trampoline based workout with you.

Please have a read of the following information before your first class so you know what to expect and have answers to all of your questions.

THE CLASSES

Information:

  • Coalville Bounce – Mondays 6.30-7.15pm & Thursdays 6-6.45pm (with Becky)
    Heather Village Hall, Swepstone Road, Heather LE67 2RE
    Car park to the side of the building.
  • Quorn Bounce – Mondays 6-6.45pm (with Mia)
    The Old School Hall, School Lane, Quorn LE12 8BL
    Park in the village centre and walk across Stafford Orchard or limited on the road parking is available on School Lane.
    Wednesdays 6-6.45pm in Quorn (with Mia)
    Quorn Village Hall, Leicester Road, Quorn LE12 8BB
    Car park to the rear of the building.
  • Syston Bounce – Mondays 6.30-7.15pm (with Charlie)
    Syston Methodist Hall, High Street, Syston LE7 1GP
    Limited parking on nearby residential streets or Library car park on Upper Church Street.
  • LFE Bounce – Tuesdays 6-6.45pm (with Becky)
    LFE Parish Hall, 112 Kings Drive, LFE LE3 3JB
    Car park at the front of the building.
  • Rothley Bounce – Tuesdays 6.30-7.15pm (with Charlie)

    Parking on the nearby street, village centre car park or at The Rothley Centre only 5 minute walk away.
  • Groby Bounce Wednesdays 6.30-7.15pm (with Becky)

    Small car park to the side of the building or limited nearby parking on the road.
  • Thurmaston Bounce – Thursdays 6-6.45pm (with Charlie)

    Car park to rear of the hall or on Melton Road.
For all classes, please arrive 10 minutes before the class time to meet your instructor and get set up. Toilets & water are available at all venues.

Things to bring with you:

  • Water (advised)
  • Towel (optional)
  • Tena Lady’s (if you think that might be an issue!)

What to wear:

  • Comfortable exercise clothing but nothing too baggy around the ankles so you don’t get caught on the trampoline springs. Please wear suitable clean trainers.

What to expect:

  • The class will be a mix of mini trampoline cardio exercises and floor/mat toning exercises in an interval timed format.
  • We start with a warm up whilst we explain the format & exercises (approx 5 minutes). We will then get in to the main session (30 minutes) with regular rest & drink-breaks throughout. Ending with a 5 minute cool down stretch.
  • We will aim to ensure the class is suitable for all abilities – giving plenty of options to work at a lower/higher intensity.
  • All exercises are optional and you wont be expected to ‘keep up’ with a routine so no rhythm or coordination required.
  • If you want to bring your own dumbbells or a kettlebell to add extra resistance then you are most welcome to but these are non essential.

Please tell us if you have any injuries or issues that we should be aware of so we can ensure the class is suitable for you.

Please note: the trampolines supplied have a weight limit of 100kg. Please let us know if that changes your availability for the class.

Signing up:

  • Your first class is free and on the night you will be given the option to sign up for a further 6 classes at the special price of £35.
  • Advance payment is required to secure your future bookings.
  • Cash or card is accepted.
  • Spaces are limited and booked on a first come, first served basis.
  • To book all future classes, we use the Mindbody booking app. Instructions will be given to you once you have signed up.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Programme fees will not be refunded (in part or full) if you change your mind or your circumstances change preventing you from attending the classes. Programme fees are also non transferable unless agreed otherwise.
  • If you are unable to attend, please cancel on the booking app allowing at least 24 hours notice for the class to be rebooked. Classes cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will NOT be rescheduled.

DISCLAIMER

Any exercise class carries with it an element of risk. The classes are designed to minimise these risks whilst providing an effective workout. Please inform your instructor if, for any reason (such as injury or illness), you feel you should not participate in any part of the class.

If at any time you feel undue pain or excessive discomfort stop the activity and inform your trainer of your symptoms. You are free to withdraw from the class at any time.

  • I accept full and complete responsibility for my participation in the classes.
  • I understand that I may withdraw from the classes at any time.
  • I agree to hold Becky / onesixeight: fitness free of any and all liability for any subsequent injury or health complication that though unlikely, may result from or be aggravated by my participation in these classes.
  • I understand that payment for all classes must be made in advance and that I am not entitled to a refund if I am unable to attend unless at least 24 hours notice is given.
  • I will also take it upon myself to notify my trainer of any changes to my medical history or current state of health.
