“Before meeting Becky, I felt frustrated and lacked self-belief because I had stopped exercising regularly and I didn’t like how I felt physically or mentally.

Leading up to our first session, I was nervous and rather shy and did not want to feel judged or inadequate. But Becky’s calm demeanour, kindness and empathy gave me the confidence to believe in myself again.

Becky makes the training fun. I love the variety, the challenge and the pace. I have regained my self belief, rediscovering my love of exercise.

If you are thinking of training with Becky, do not hesitate – go for it!”

I started working with Alena last summer doing 2x 1-1 sessions each week in the park. Alena had previously worked with a PT so she was used to pushing herself, and we soon progressed her training to 3 sessions per week, including 2 runs and 1 strength & conditioning.

“Having just had a baby and post-lockdown, I needed to get back into exercise and find something that was just for me. I find it difficult to motivate myself; Becky offers the right mix of motivational spurring-on without making it a complete hardship to train with her.”

“I’ve gone from a sedentary lifestyle (with a baby) to now running 12 kilometres (7.5 miles) and actually enjoying it! I have muscles in places I didn’t before and can hold a decent plank.”

Beryl read my previous article and needed help with her balance. She was worried about falling and wanted to stop swaying. 1x 30-minutes of home training each week was a great way to get started and also fits around her busy social calendar & gardening!

Beryl found some of the exercises challenging, but within only a few weeks we have seen huge improvements. Beryl can now balance on one leg, walk continuously for six minutes and she is also mastering the skill of walking heel to toe without holding on – something she could not do at all to begin with.

I started working with Jacqui in April, doing 2x 1-1 sessions at her home. In our initial phone call Jacqui said she lacked motivation and disliked goal setting and because I like a challenge I knew we would make a great fit!

“I developed a great walking habit during lockdown but I wanted to improve my general fitness and health. I was worried about the workouts being too hard, but Becky understands and pushes gently so every session we do a little more and I work a little harder. It’s great to have her encouragement when I am finding something difficult – she won’t allow me to give up.”

“An intense 30-minute session with Becky at least twice a week fits in well with my lifestyle and each session is varied so there is no chance to get bored!”

“My best result has been a mental change. I am more willing to challenge myself and want to do my best in every session. I feel much more confident in my own ability to achieve and improve.”

“If you are considering working with Becky, definitely take advantage of the free session!”

“I was fast approaching my 50th birth- day and confidence was at an all-time low. I was aware that fitness and building strength is so important at this time of life but I needed to feel comfortable with an instructor who would understand what I was aiming for.

I’d seen Becky advertising and could see the benefits of working with someone one to one but I was still nervous. I was convinced I wouldn’t be able to stick at it, but Becky listened to what I wanted out of the sessions and we work at a pace that is challenging but achievable.

Working with Becky is challenging but fun. The sessions are the perfect length – you don’t feel like you’re clock watching for the session to end. I’m doing what I can to look after myself without it feeling like a chore. I’m making progress and my stamina, overall fitness and strength are improving week on week.

If you’re tempted but have a few reservations, reach out to Becky for a chat. She’s easy to talk to and is full of encouragement and support”.

“Having been isolated and bed bound with a broken knee ligament, I realised that I was losing muscle strength very quickly and I wanted to keep fit especially as I age.

Becky knows how to make the workouts effective and, as the expert, I’ve found it very useful to follow her advice.

My best result so far is being able to walk up and down steps without holding on – something I haven’t been able to do for 2 years.

I would highly recommend Becky because she is very encouraging and adapts activities as I progress.”

“Before I started attending Becky’s Bounce classes twice a week, I was lacking motivation to get fitter and was at a point where I had tried different options and never stick to it. 6 months on and no regrets, feel fitter and motivated and thoroughly enjoy every class!

Before I started, I was nervous about attending an already established class but Becky made me feel at ease and I didn’t feel any pressure to keep up with some of the exercises until I was ready. Becky has the ability to put us all at ease and believe in our abilities throughout the classes.

The classes have helped keep my weight down & reduce my stress levels – making me feel calm and mentally in a much better space. My one best result is now I feel like me again and have gained my confidence back.

If you’re feeling like you want to make that change to your self esteem and get into shape do get in touch with Becky! She will do all she can to put you at ease and you will have fun along the way.”

“Before working out with Becky, I was running regularly but not doing any strength and conditioning and had started to develop a hamstring injury. I then broke my wrist which meant having a break from running, so I lost fitness and also needed to rebuild strength in the wrist. I had a friend who’d started with a PT so I thought I’d give it a go.

It’s been fun working with Becky – I really enjoy the PT sessions. I enjoy the outdoor workouts, especially in my lunch break and I actually concentrate better at work for having the break. Becky has gradually upped the intensity and varies the workouts so you don’t get bored.

My favourite results are my abs and I am stronger all over. The first improvement I noticed was my arm strength whilst lugging my suitcase on holiday! Physically I look more toned and and I have noticed that I can run harder and faster. The strengthening has fixed my hamstring issue and I am much more injury resistant.

Becky is really great. She fits the workouts to your schedule and she’s really friendly and bubbly. If you are thinking about PT I would recommend Becky.”
